Is it Spring forward yet? We have already had a fair winter but now I am really anxious about all the pastel anythings, everywhere! So why wait.

Tuesday night was quite the celebration for myself and my fellow CapFABB bloggers (group of fashion and beauty bloggers in the DC area) - one, we are at about 400 members strong and two, it was CapFABB's one year anniversary and I couldn't ask for a better group of girls to be surrounded by, we are all so supportive of one another and it extends beyond blogging for us.  And trust we know how to party! Held at Cities in DC, we had a floral bar to make DIY arrangements, photo booth, flowing drinks and yummy hor d'oeuvres.

These girls are amazing! It was definitely a night to remember!

The remaining days spent at New York Fashion Week went by so quickly that looking through all my photos and videos help savor every minute spent in NY! Hence the hashtag's in the title, if there is one thing to know during Fashion Week, bloggers are glued to their phone! Constantly plugged with my updates and tagged #NYFW and #MBFashionWeek to pretty much everything! Thank goodness for the Pepsi stand in the tents that had every single charger on hand for you to recharge your phone!

And of course we ended our last night in the city sipping wine in the hotel room, watching Sex and the City, I mean, of course! I couldn't have asked for a better group of girls to share this adventure with. Certainly an experience like none other I am already counting down until September!

From the moment we arrived at the Lincoln Center, we were welcomed with such a vivacious energy - fashion was in the air! Something that is too hard to describe in a few words, an experience like none other!  Traveled with 4 of my blogger girls, as soon as we touched down (8 suitcases later) - it was nonstop! Anything that was not fashion related you did not have time for and that included meals (did not have my first one until 5pm).  


I was able to attend the Rebecca Taylor show - blaring music and flashing lights - such a rush of excitement! And let me tell you the photogs are on ANOTHER level during fashion week! If you're not use to random cameras in your face, people coming up to you asking for a photo or having a swarm of photogs surrounding you to get your shot - it's not the place for you!


We capped off the night at Bloggers Night Out - met a lot of new faces and finally got to put a face to some of my readers!

An early Happy Valentine's day to everyone although every day should be filled with lots of love! And also an early birthday shout out to my sister, Cortnie!

It has been a little difficult getting back to my normal day-to-day after being in New York for Fashion Week these past couple of days, it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life! I can not wait to share the pics with you!

It's kind of hard saying winter since we seemed to make it out without experiencing the normal freezing temperatures.  Hopefully it holds up for at least the next because I am leaving for New York Fashion Week in a few days! Heading down with some of my fellow blogger girlfriends, super excited to attend the runway shows, Bloggers Night Out NYC and seeing everything the city has to offer!
